Our Servants

Kim is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Kim is married to Pastor Donald McCoy, whom she truly loves with all of her heart.  They have had the privilege to raise two wonderful children, Amaia and Elijah.

Kim accepted the Lord at a very young age.  She has worked diligently in the Lord’s house in the Music Ministry for over 30 years.  Kim has also served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 10 years when she, her father Bishop Hooks and her mother Mary Hooks opened The Great Commission Interdenominational Church.  She served for three years as an UMC Hope Chaplain providing prayer and comfort to patients and families in need.

Kim is a Group Leader for the Nevada Women’s Bible Study Fellowship (International Women’s Bible Study) and the Director of the Women’s and Music Ministry at Abundant Heart Community Church.

Kim has a Master’s in Business Administration.  She has had the privilege to work as an Account Executive and an Insurance Broker for Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company.  Currently, Kim works for the Clark County School District as a High School Computer and Business Teacher for over 20 years.

Kim believes that true success is receiving God’s Son, Jesus Christ, and being obedient to God.  Kim often quotes Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.”
